It is easy to spot the color in both of these specimens. Each is very clean and sparkly. Little to no indication that either of these rocks were at one time buried under the ground. You do not need a stand to ideally display either of these pieces. There is a significant full face of clear calcite and blue agate on the larger of these two rocks. While the other includes blue agate banding around crystals which appear to reflect a mix of pink and blue, as well.
Rock Talk - Quartz appears pink due to microscopic inclusions of minerals within the crystal lattice, which distort the light and cause it to reflect pick wavelengths.
