While there are calcite inclusions mixed into the face of this specimen, the focal point is the crystal clear quartz points. These are of the smaller variety, which makes them none the less majestic. They bubble up throughout the face, reflecting light from all angles. There is a dark brown, thin layer of rock between the host and the quartz layers that adds another element of depth to the overall rock. Calcite nubs glow a shade of pink when subjected to UV light operating at a 365nm wavelength. You will need a stand to display this rock, ideally.
