Both of these pieces contain larger, more sheer blades than many of the rocks that come out of the area this was mined from. You will want a stand to display the larger specimen from this pairing. It lies flat but does look better when propped up. Each contains calcite blades that glow a shade of pink when subjected to UV light operating at a 365nm wavelength. Host rock can be found under each calcite formation. An alternative form of calcite grows under the smaller rock.
